It may be a good idea to keep the boat in the shed and do some maintenance, or come in and check out our great specials in the Jarvis Walker Catalogue - out now!

The very strong south easterly winds will prevail throughout most of the weekend, and the residual swell coming off cyclone Wati will make offshore boating a non-event.

If you’re still keen for a fish, the rivers and creeks are the go. Crabs and prawns are doing well in the Mary and Susan rivers. The Burrum is a good chance as well. Whiting and flathead should be biting in those areas also.

Lenthalls Dam is still producing barra and bass on Daiwa Pro Vibe lures and Tango Dancers.
