Howdy everyone from Stanage Bay and surrounding islands.
The weather has been beautiful oneday bad the next, the same as everywhere on the qld coast lately. Anyway, when one can get out fishing its been good for most of us. Some spots have been very dull to say the least, however there a just a couple of pics to give you an idea what has been happening up here. The road is being graded at the moment with two gangs and lots of machinary working on it finally. The crabs have been very slow because of the cooler weather, still worth a try if you are keen, for what you get will be huge and full. Keep an eye out on the water for pods of whales and dolphins frollicking, they are everywhere at the moment.

For anyone interested I would like to invite you all to help us dirvert the plans to build a coal port near our beautiful pristine area, we will need all the help we can get, as you all know our little town only has about 50 locals. Have a look at www.waratahcoal.com.au

We can not believe how this could be implemented in such a paradise where, whales, dolphins, turtles, dugong, mud crabs and our many species of reef and estuary fish heavily rely on.
Until next time keep fishing
