Howdy from Stanage Bay, Shoalwater Bay, The Dukes and Percy Isles.
The Road in is still full of pot holes and a bit of corrigation, so the old story applies, slow down and take it easy and enjoy the scenery and drive in. The Muddies are still potting really well so long as you are not following where someone else has had good pots with fresh bait. The Barra and Estuary Fish have been good for some fishers and straight out nasty to others with not even wanting to take a bait. I was lucky yesterday afternoon and hooked a nice grunter, 3kg so i was very happy with that, on my old favourite Richo Lure, trolling.

Outside fishing has been good for the ones that bothered to head out, The Hexham group proved to give out nice sweet lip and coral trout for the Brendon and his mates at the Villa, however bom was not correct in their prediction for here yesterday. A good hint in the estuary is at my favourite spot is shirt tail creek, a richo lure, troll on dusk 1st hour of the change of tide coming in. If anyone in interested, Von has her 90 hp honda for sale, low hours, always serviced and she needs to buy a little suzuki jimny 4wd. on the accommodation, she has just had a cancellation for the pacific oasis... from 11th april to 18th april 2014, yep this week coming...give her a ring 07 49 373145. separately pay with credit card, no sweat.
cheerio,
the one n only,
Von Ireland
