• Lows Bridge producing some nice trevally on soft plastics and flies;
• Entrance to Breakwater Marina fishing extremely well at the moment with queenfish taking Marabou jigs quite regularly;
• Upper reaches of Ross Creek is producing the odd barramundi on live mullet. Soft plastics like the Basstrix 5” Finger Mullet are working particularly well.

• The channels between the sand flats at the mouth of the Haughton River have been producing some very nice whiting on peeled prawn and yabbies.
• The Haughton River is also producing some quality mangrove jacks on small live poddy mullet, while strips of mullet are working well on quality pikey bream in the same areas.
• The Bohle River is still producing some nice prawns when found, with prawns as thick as your thumb making up most of the catch.

• Has been quiet due to weather conditions
• However last week there were still plenty of 20kg plus Spanish mackerel being caught around Cape Cleveland and Salamander Reef.

• Inside Cape Cleveland out from any of the rocky headlands for grunter near the top of the tide, using small bottle squid, strips of mullet or small live garfish.
