LAND BASED
The rock walls around Townsville have been fishing ok for Queenfish and trevally. The entrance to the Marina has also been on fire lately with reports of some nice king salmon and the odd large barra caught on live and dead baits.

INSHORE
Most of the creeks have been fishing quite well lately with the Bohle producing a vast array of species with reports of Barra, Mangrove Jacks and cod on live prawn and lures. There have also been plenty of Queenfish, tarpon and wolf herring around the mouth with small Greenback herring accounting for most. The Haughton has been fishing quite well for Barra and the odd quality king salmon still talking trolled lures. Morressey creek has been producing some good crabs and some very nice whiting coming from the sandy areas around the mouth.

OFFSHORE & BAY
Due to the winds offshore there is very little to report. Only the larger boats have been able to get out with SV Turning Point catching some nice nannygai just wide of Maggie Island shoals earlier in the week.
