Offshore: The sea is starting to drop so it should be OK for the weekend. Still cobia and snapper out there and there should be some jew on the close reefs after the rain.
Beaches have been a bit of a write-off so they’ll be an unknown quantity when it settles.
Estuaries: Flatties are now showing up in good numbers in the Tweed and the creeks with a few whiting. Someone said the blackfish have come back in the Tweed and Pottsville and Cudgen creeks after the rough seas. Better get out there and into them before the sea settles down too much and they run back to sea. Muddies showing up around Tumbulgum and the bass are still going well around Murwillumbah, including a couple of real quality fish.
