Offshore: A few Spanish mackerel around for a change, mainly the Nine Mile and Five Mile. Quite few kings in the same places, both going on live baits and lures. Snapper and spangled emperor in close on bait and soft plastics with some reds to 9kg. Out wide a lot of nice pearlies and some big amberjack.
Beaches: Pretty quiet with cornflake weed around Cabarita. Up north some big dart and the odd school jew around Fingal Headland. Tailor not too flash apart from some kilo ones in the gutters from north Kirra to Burleigh.
River: A few bream around the mouth with trevally schools on the top of the tide and some decent tailor mixed in. Relatively quiet up the river but still a few crabs around. Have a dig now before the westerlies get going. A few lizards around Seagulls and the golf club and some blackfish starting to drift in.
