A few flathead throughout the river, mostly school fish with a few large ones as well, plastics working well, especially on a run-out tide. Live worms for a few nice whiting on the start of the run in and the first of the run out. Try the lakes and there are a few nice whiting behind the golf club and a few at the Piggery as well. Crabs are just starting to stir so it’s worth putting in a few pots now, try the deeper holes. A few jacks also working about, make sure to upgrade the hooks and rings on your lures if you want stay attached to the fish, try the rocks walls and bridges.
Beaches pretty quiet apart from a few dart down south and an odd chopper tailor and bream.
Offshore has a few snapper in close around Mud and Fidos with the odd jew on the moon and a few kings. A few squire, perch and trag out wider but the tide is running pretty hard. Water still a bit cool for pelagics apart from the odd mack tuna. Water is murky green in close with a bit of blue on the other side of the Nine Mile.
