Bit scratchy. A few bream around the river mouth with the odd trevally. After all the rain, it’s only just starting to fish reasonably when the tide pushes in. The odd school jew also along the walls. Blackfish should be on pretty soon but finding weed will be a problem.
Cleaner water down towards Cabarita and Hastings Point, where there’s the odd chopper tailor and bream around the headlands.
A few snapper in close but there’s no current. Samson, amberjack and pearlies out around the 50-fathom reefs. South of the Nine Mile and down towards Kingscliff seems better.
