Weekly Report 11/9/09

A few school flathead and the odd better fish from the golf club upstream. A few behind Seagulls. Water just gone past 19° and rising. A few whiting moving onto the banks, the odd blackfish lingering and the odd crab starting to move so it’s worth setting a few pots. Bream and a few trevally down around the sea walls. The odd mangrove jack already started taking live baits.
Tonnes of bait offshore with a lot of squire around the 24-36 fathom line and plenty of mako sharks from runts to some big ones from Southport down to Cabarita. A few trag, pearlies and samson out wider. Water in close is a funny green in close, which is slowing the beach fishing.
