Weekly Report 28/02/14

Post by Nicole Penfold » Fri Feb 28, 2014 12:25 pm

There are good tailor coming from Bilinga Beach, Fingal Headland, the mouth of the Tweed River and off the Kingscliff wall on the southern side.

In the river anglers have been picking up a few small cobia, which is unusual for this time of year. There are still plenty of jacks around the bridges and some nice whiting around the Anchorage and the Piggery.

There are still some nice flatties throughout the river, and some good muddies in the upper reaches.

Outside there are plenty of mackerel around 9 Mile, Fidos and Black Rocks, and some good pearlies and snapper around the 36 fathom mark.
