There are still a few Spanish mackerel and wahoo around Nine Mile, and some nice snapper around Fidos Reef and the Mud Hole.

On the beaches anglers are getting tailor off the south and north wall of the Tweed River, and quite a few are also being taken inside the river.

At Fingal headland there are quite a few tailor also, as well as the south side of the rock wall at Kingscliff. There are also a few tailor along Bilinga Beach.

In the river there have been good catches of trevally around Barneys Point bridge. There are also some flatties around Cobaki Lakes and some nice whiting around the anchorage.

There are a few mulloway in around Barneys Point Bridge and off the south side of the Kingscliff wall in around the rocks there.

Mud crabs are around in the upper reaches.
