There’s still the odd mackerel and wahoo around Nine Mile, plus some good jewfish around Fidos Reef and a few good snapper there as well. There are also some nice snapper around the Mud Hole.

Around the mouth of the river, a few small yellowtail kingfish and also a few jewfish have been taken on the south side bar entrance of the Tweed River, plus a few jew around Barneys Point Bridge. Some good quality jew have been taking up around Tumbulgum.

There are a few luderick around the Blue Hole, and some flathead in around Cobaki Lakes.
