Report 19/9/14

Post by subeditor » Fri Sep 19, 2014 9:50 am

This week there’s been some good tailor trevally around the Tweed River mouth.

Those chasing whiting have been having luck around The Anchorage, and also behind the golf club.

There’s been good numbers of flathead throughout river system and most standard methods have been use to catch them.

School mulloway have been showing up in Murwillumbah, Tumbulgum and at Barneys Point Bridge and crabbers have been able to get a good feed of muddies in the upper reaches as well.

Hastings Point and Fingal Headland have been the places to go if you’re after a feed of tailor, and those venturing outside have boasted hauls of snapper at Fidos and The Mudhole.

Those going out further have locked horns with some great pearlies and trag jew at the 36s.
