Starting in the river, jacks are hot on the bite with plenty being taken on livies.
Small flatties are entertaining anglers in the Cobaki and Terranora lakes and anglers using soft plastics have been having the most success.
Whiting have been taken on surface lures around the golf course and quality specimens up to 40cm have been reported.
In the brackish and upper reaches, bass have been around in good numbers and willing to hit lures at low light periods.
Muddies have been active and many have been taken recently in pots in the brackish reaches
Juvenile kings and amberjack have been offering some line-burning action for anglers around the Tweed River mouth and soft plastics have been the order of the day, either cast or jigged.

On the beaches, jewies have been taken in reasonable numbers around the south Kingscliffe wall. The dirty water from the rain has stirred the jewies into action.

Outside, Spotties and Spaniards have been patchy, with occasional catches being reported from Plamy and 9-mile.

There’s been a few juvenile black marlin taken around the 50s, and closer in at 36s, there’s been solid reports of dolphin fish.
