Report 10/7/15

Post by subeditor » Fri Jul 10, 2015 1:52 pm

Starting in the river, black fish and bream have been chewing their heads off. Dry Dock Road, Boyds Bay bridge and Blue Hole have been top spots for these little fellas.
Jewies have been thick around Barneys Point and Tumbulgum bridges, and also behind the hospital at the Tweed River mouth.
For flathead lovers, Cobaki Lakes and Supercat have been producing some great captures, and the usual softplastics and hardbodies have been working a treat.

Along the beaches, tailor have been getting around in numbers out from the south wall at Kingscliff, and in the same area jewies have been caught in reasonable numbers too.

Outside, Spaniards are out in force and 9-mile is a reat place to snare a Spaniard.
Some great jewies are present around Fidos, with a few snapper mixed in to help fill the esky.
Over at the Mudhole, snapper are also taking a variety of baits, lures and jigs.
