Report 7/8/15

Starting outwide, snapper have been a mainstay at Fidos and the Mudhole, and with them have been some quality jewies.
Kingfish have been stretching arms and straining gear around 9-Mile, and the usual live baits have been doing the trick.

Along the beaches, tailor have been thick along the South Tweed Wall and South Kingscliff Wall, with plenty around Fingal Headland as well.

In the river, flatties have been in good numbers around Fingal Strait and Cob Lakes, with some good patches also being found around Tumbulgum.
School jew as usual have been taken under Tumbulgum and Barneys Point bridges on live baits.
Luderick are in great numbers and Boyds Bay bridge, Chinderah Wall and the Blue Hole are just some of the places where they’ve been caught.
For the bream brigade, behind the hospital at an area known as ‘The Cotton Trees’ has been producing the goods.
