Report 20/11/15

Starting in the river, flatties are still up and about around Jupitors Hole and the Piggery taking the usual hardbodies and soft plastics.
Whiting fishing is getting better and better and the back of Cobaki and Terrenora lakes seems to be the best spot with a variety of surface lures working, and yabbies being the pick of the bait.
A few school jew have been taken around the rock wall at the mouth, along with a few juvenile kingfish and trevally.
Mangrove jacks are really coming into their own at this time of year, and a micture of lures and livies have been doing plenty of damage around Chinderah and Oxley Cove, and also further up around Blackwatch, Tumbulgum and Condon.
For the crabbers, sand crabs have been on the move in the lower reaches, while mudddies have been getting around in the upper reaches.

Outside, there's been good numbers of spotty mackerel coming through, prticularly around 9-mile and Kingscliff reef.
Big kingfish have been making regular appearances around 9-mile, with a variety of live and floated baits doing well.
For lovers of tuna, the odd yellowfin tuna has been getting about, but not in any great numbers.

Along the beaches, a few small dart and tailor have been taken from around the sand pumping up to Fingal, and a few specimens are also being taken around Kingscliff as well.
