Starting in the river, Barneys Point, Cobaki and Tumulgum bridges are all producing good quality mangrove jacks on live baits and lures.
Flathead are continuing to show up along Fingal Strait, behind the golf club and around Tumbulgum, and it seems the flathead season is yet to wind up!
The usual trevally and small kingfish are showing up sporadically around the mouth and responding well to a variety of lures retrieved at high speed.
Around Supercat, some nice whiting are being taken in the shallows, particularly around the high tide on a mixture of yabby baits and surface lures.

Outside, there's been a lot of mahimahi hanging around the 50-fathom mark, and when boaties are getting out they're bagging out on these tasty speedsters.
Spaniards are starting to move in around 9-mile and Palm Beach and are continuing to move further south.

Along the beaches, dart and whiting are being caught in good numbers behind Kingscliff bowls club, but action on the beaches generally has been quite slow.
