Palm Beach Reef has been fishing well. Anglers have been getting good spotties off there, and Spanish off the gravel patch. A few juvenile blacks are in the area as well.

We’ve been getting some good dollies between the 40-50 fathom line and also off the FAD.

In the river, there are juvenile kingies and big-eye trevally around the river mouth and the green light. Anglers have been getting good jewies at the holes up towards Tumbulgum. Some good jacks have been coming from the Condong area up to Murwillumbah. There are good whiting around Scotts Island and Black Watch, and the odd flathead is being caught around Terranora lakes and Cobaki.

We’re seeing the odd blackfish being picked up at Boyds Bay and Dry Dock.

The beaches been pretty quiet – just the odd small tailor, whiting and dart.
