Starting offshore, jew and snapper have bee in good numbers around Fidos, while in at the Mudhole, kingfish have been smashing livebaits, with the odd snapper thrown in as well.

Along the beaches, tailor are really starting to show up on the north wall and off Fingal Headland, and there's also been reasonable numbers at Kingscliff behind the golf club and along the south wall.

In the river, trevally have as usual been smashing bait around the mouth, and with them have been a few tailor mixed in with the madness.
There's been some good flatties taken from behind the hospital and along Fingal Strait, and a mixture of lures and live baits have been the standouts.
If you're after bream, you should begin your search along the rock wall around the Anchorage.
The crabbers should focus their effort on muddies in the lower reaches.
