Report 12/8/16

Starting on the offshore reefs, there's been some big cobia taken from Point Reef, which have been mainly succumbing to livies.
In at 9-mile, kingies have been causing their usual havoc, smashing bait and taking well-presented livies.
For those fihsing around the Mud Hole and Fidos, squire and the odd snapper has shown up, and those using plastics have seen some good results.
For some tasty table fish, tuskies have been hick around the 36s, and pearlies have been coming over the gunnel from the 50s.

In the river, there's been large numbers of tailor around mouth and down around the cotton trees, and throwing metal slices and surface lures has accounted for plenty.
School jew are a viable target, particularly around Barnys Point bridge and in Jupitors and Mcauley hole, and the flathead brigade should be able to scratch their itch in Terranora lakes.
Whiting winter are in good numbers around Tumulgum and around Stotts Island, meaning those after a feed won't have to go far.

The beaches have been fairly quiet, with only a few tailor coming in from Hastings, and the odd jewie at Fingal.
