Starting in the river, jacks are really starting to show up around Chinderah Wall, Fingal, Chinerah bridge and Stotts. Those putting in the effort have been getting a few, and a mixture of livies and lures has been doing the damage.
The flathead action is slowing down, but for those after feed, the flats in Cobaki Lakes will still give up a few flatties.
Right up the top around Murwillumbah, the bass have been showing up in increasing numbers, and a few whiting are taking baits around the piggery.

Offshore the action has been stable, with mackerel hanging around Palmy Reef, and the odd trevally and kingy is being taken off 9-mile.
The snapper action is fairly quiet at the moment.

The beaches and headlands have been pretty quiet, with only the odd jew and tailor showing up off Cabo heads.
