Report 14/10/16

Outside it's been very quiet this week. With only the odd mackerel and wahoo being take or spotted, it's been a bit disappointing.
On the upside, the odd black out has started turning up out wide, so fingers crossed they come in a bit closer.

In the rive, Ukerebah Island has produced some good whiting, which have taken a liking to baits of yabbies.
Jack numbers are increasing, and Chinderah rock wall under the bridge seems to be a good bet if you want to tangle with a jack.
In this same area, some school jew have been taken, particularly where the deeper holes are.
There's been a few chopper tailor hanging around at the mouth, and metal slices, soft plastics and topwater lures are a good option if you're after some line-burning fun.

Some better size jew have been taken off the headlands, with no headland in particular standing out above the rest.
Black rock has been the go-to spot if you're after a feed of tailor from the beach.
