When the guys been able to get offshore they've been getting good Spanish from the back of 9 mile reef. Anglers are also picking up kingies and a few small GTs. Some small black marlin have been coming from the 24 fathom line, and pearlies are being caught on the 50 fathom line.

In the river mouth there are juvenile kings and bigeye trevally. Good jacks are being caught on Fingal rock wall and Chinderah rock wall. There are quality flathead being caught along the Piggery and Jouberts Hole. Some good school jew have been coming from Condong up to Murwillumbah.

On the beaches anglers are picking up some good bream and dart on Kingscliff main beach and also some good jew off Hastings Point.
