Outside anglers have been getting kingfish and some GTs at 9 Mile. There have been cobia at Point Reef and the desal, and a few small dolphinfish at the FAD.

In the river mouth we're seeing catches of some chopper tailor, bigeye trevally and juvenile kingfish.

There have been winter whiting in Cobaki Lakes and school jew at Tumbulgum Bridge, and bass schooling up at the sugar mill.

Off the beaches anglers have been getting a few small tailor at the pumping jetty. Of course, there are the usual greenbacks and jewies off Hastings and Fingal causeway.
