At the moment there are flathead in the lower reaches, and school jew in the deeper holes from Missingham bridge up to Woodburn and Wardell bridges.

There are also bream in the lower reaches but they’re very small.

There are flathead being taken in Mobs Bay, and bass from Swan Bay up to the boat harbour and in Bungawalbin.

On the beaches we’re seeing a few tailor, whiting, bream and dart, with worms being the best bait.

Outside there are snapper on the 32s, with kingies and amberjack out wider. There are also a few dolphinfish (mahi mahi) up around the FAD.
