Weekly Report 10/01/14

The offshore fishing has been a bit quiet but it's looking pretty good for the next few days. There are still a few mahi mahi around the FAD, and a few snapper out a bit wider on the 42s.

On the beaches anglers have been getting into some flathead, dart and a few whiting. There's also the odd tailor and trevally from Flat Rock to Lennox.

There are mud crabs in Immigrant Creek and the main river at the moment. The smaller tides have slowed them up a bit but there are bigger tides next week with the full moon.

If you're after flathead and bream, they're being taken from Pimlico to the mouth. The flatties have been a bit better in deeper water.

Locals are also picking up the odd mulloway behind town and off the break walls.
