Report 25/9/15

Strong winds and large swells has meant that we will have little or no beach and offshore fishing this weekend.
The rocks are going to be a dangerous proposition but there should be a few jew from the rocks and break walls given the conditions. Large hard body lures and soft plastics as well as some squid or mullet will be the best bet.
The strong winds are also going to make conditions difficult in the river, but the rockwalls between the mouth and Pimlico Island will be worth a look for some vream and flathead. Live baits have been working for some of the bigger fish and prawns and white pilchards have been other good bait options.
The windy conditions may as make the shallow sand flats worth a look for some bream or whiting on surface lures. If the wind is putting you off it may be worth chasing a couple of mud crabs in North or Emigrant Creek to get you out of the wind a little.
Don't forget the North Coast Fishing Bonanza starts next Wednesday so get your entries in as soon as possible. There is over $80000 worth of cash and prizes to be won, so don't miss out.

Tight lines. Brett.
