Offshore the water temperatures have been all over the place. We've seen a couple of dollies but not many because of those inconsistent water temps.

Snapper, kingfish and pearlies have been taken from the 32 fathom line to around the 48s. Most have been coming more towards the 48s.

There's are a few dart and whiting on the beaches with the odd tailor mixed in among them.

In the river, mud crabs been pretty quiet although in the last week or so we've seen a little increase. Jacks are being taken around Wardell Bridge, and good whiting are being caught on the run-up tides in the usual spots like North Creek and Pimlico Island.

Most of the flathead have been coming from the Burns Point Ferry to the mouth of the river, mostly in water that's a bit deeper. The bigger specimens have been readily taking live baits such as herring.

There are plenty of bass up around Coraki hitting surface lures in the morning and spinnerbaits during the day.
