Still not a great deal of offshore reports with just a few mackerel in the cooler water up at Woody Head but you’ll need live slimy mackerel to do any good. Some good kings to almost 90cm out wider with snapper to 7kg and pearlies to 4kg turning up in quite good numbers.
It’s all jewfish and big tailor around the headlands with greenbacks to 6kg and jewies to about 15kg along with the odd kingfish. Plenty of school jew around 4kg as well.
In the river it’s all blades and jewfish, with school fish from just barely legal to a few a bit bigger. Bream were thicker earlier in the week around Browns Rocks with plenty of whiting in the bottom end. Mud crabs still getting about from Harwood to Maclean
