Offshore hasn't been too bad. We've had some northerlies which have stirred the current up and made the temps drop a bit. Anglers are still catching inshore species like snapper and pearl perch. Kingfish have been going pretty hard around the islands, taking stickbaits and poppers.

Out a bit wider it's been a bit quiet because conditions haven't been great. Still, we're seeing a fair frew striped marlin being cuaght, and there are a few yellowfin around too.

When it comes to river and estuary fishing, a lot of good size whiting are being caught on surface lures. There are a few good flathead too, and the jacks are heating up as well. Anglers are picking up a few little school jew, and a lot of trevally.

Further up in the fresh, the bass fishing has been going really well. We've had a lot of afternoon storm activity so they've really been heating up. There are a fair few cod further upstream as well.

Off the beach there are still some tailor with the cooler water and a few jew hanging around, stirred up by the swell.
