The water has been really clear water of late, around 15m visibility, and the temp is about 25-26 degrees. There have been a lot of marlin, wahoo and dollies caught around the bait grounds, lighthouse and FADs. There are a few reefies as well but they don't like biting when it's so clear, so dawn and dusk are your best bet for catching snapper, trag and pearlies.

Around the headlands there are trevally, the odd jew and the odd tailor as well.

Anglers fishing the beaches have been picking up whiting, dart and bream.

In the river there are flathead, whiting and jacks, and up in the fresh anglers are catching bass on spinnerbaits and topwater lures.
