Starting at the river, we've got sea bream coming in a fair bit now. They will be doing their spawning run over the next month or so, so there should be some big girls around.

The flathead are moving up into the shallower water as they seek out the sun. Whiting are slowly starting to drop off; a few are getting caught around the headlands and beaches but not so much in the river.

The headlands have seen plenty of tailor around. Anglers are still getting a few tuna as well; it's the last bit of their run, and the biggest has been around 25kg. Bonito are starting to turn up, with a few getting caught.

Salmon haven't showed their faces as yet, and it will be interesting to see if we get a run of them this year. They get netted heavily in Sydney, and we haven't had a good run for three years at least.

Outside, we've been getting good runs of snapper, and there are some good pearlies mixed in as well. There's still the odd spotted mackerel getting around, although I haven't heard of any baries.

There are still a few good kings getting around. We're just about to have the FADs ripped up, and afterwards the kingfish should start gravitating to the headlands and islands.

Out wide is pretty quiet. Wahoo were really thick this year but they've slowed now that the water is colder, and marlin aren't being reported either.
