Starting offshore, the weather has been looking pretty bad, with not many boats getting about. Despite this, there's been lots of snapper in close, with this rain stirring things up. The action has been good in 20m and less.
Working a bit further out around the islands and inshore washes, you're likely to find good kingies. The water temperature is sitting at about about 22 degrees.
There's been a lot of dollies spotted out wide. They've been hard to get to bite, but that will improve as water warms. November is usually good for kingies and dollies.
Bottom bashing is still an option for pearlies, trag and the odd tusky.

Beaches and headlands have been giving up a few good tailor. They're good quality fish, but they're not in great numbers.
There's a few jew on the move with this rain. We've had 80mm in the last 3 days, so it's worth a shot at the mouth wit this bit of dirty water.

If you want bream and flathead, there should be some good numbers around the mouths of our local systems and further upstream.
In the back of the system, jacks and trevally have been smashing topwaters and other lures.
Bass have been slowly coming online in the fresh. This rain will kick the bass season right off!
