Out wide, not many blacks have been encountered yet, but a few stripes and blues are starting to show up. There are early signs of dollies as well.

As you move in closer, around the lighthouse there have been a lot of kingies, including a few good size ones around 20kg caught already. They're being taken on jigs, livebaits and topwaters.

On the inshore reefs there are still plenty of snapper, trag, and pearlies as well around that 20m mark.

The rocks have been fishing pretty well, with catches of a fair few tailor as the last of them run through. There's the odd jew as well; that dirty water flushing out the river mouths has helped.

Been dart on the beaches too, dart and whiting.

In in the rivers everyone's been chasing flatties in the lead-up to the comp. There's theodd jack as well and whiting in the rivers as well.
