Perfect conditions for this weekend, which makes a nice change. Big snapper still in close with soft plastics the best option. Plenty of leatherjackets and if you can get a bait through them you’ll find trag, samson and kings on the deeper reefs.
Beach gutters have been very quiet but things should improve with cleaner water this weekend, expect tailor, bream and jewfish on the late night tides. Plenty of salmon if you feel so inclined.
Estuaries also improving with cleaner water and it looks as if the flathead season may be off to an early start. Good whiting and a few bream in the lower reaches.
