Still plenty of salmon in the beach gutters with equally pesky leatherjackets out wide. Good snapper coming from the inshore reefs with soft plastics definitely outperforming anything else. Also an interesting collection of other species including pearl perch, kings and trags which are biting only in the dark. Beaches also starting to fire for good bream, some large whiting and a few jewfish turning up form the northern beaches.
Estuaries also fishing well as the flathead run kicks into gear.
