Things have improved after the big wet with a good run of whiting and bream along the beaches with the gutters close to the estuary mouths the best. Lower estuaries also turning up good bream, whiting and flathead but you still need the tidal push to change the water colour.
Plenty of salmon on the beaches with a few jewfish on the northern beaches.
Offshore, the snapper run continues although the big fish are heading back to deep water. Some kings, trag and pearl perch just to keep things interesting.
