Offshore is pretty quiet but a few snapper turning up inshore. Some reasonable fish to around 8kg in close but the water temperature has really dropped to as low as 18° and we’re expecting to see 16° after these nippy nights.
Beach gutters have settled down with things turning quiet. The odd tailor, a few bream and the very odd jewfish. Lower estuaries fishing quite nicely for flathead, bream and whiting. Estuaries the best bet this weekend in the strong winds. Find a nice sunny spot in shelter with a Thermos of coffee and a good book, any fish will be a bonus.
