An excellent fun of 800g-1.2kg bream along the beaches at the moment with tailor and some salmon, but the whiting seem to have vanished.
Offshore conditions haven’t been great but some good Spanish and spotted mackerel are hitting the deck from the warm water, although it’s dirty and green. Also a few wahoo. Plenty of snapper on the inshore reefs and some kingfish for variety.
Estuaries have settled with a few flathead and whiting, with very nice bream at the lower ends. There is a distinct lack of mullet
