Weekly Report 3/5/13

A fair few mullet running now, so some bigger jew are moving along the beaches and headlands. Chopper tailor from the headlands. A few longtails and mack tuna off the rocks
Rivers are pretty quiet apart from school jew at night and some flathead and whiting during the day. The bigger systems like the Bellinger and the Nambucca have quite good numbers of bream.
The mackerel have become ridiculously quiet offshore apart from the rare patch. Best targets are the snapper in close. Out wider, there’s no current and not much. A few mahi mahi and some blue marlin out on the shelf.
