Not much joy at Coffs thanks to the wild east coast low and the prospect of more bad weather coming. Forty knots on Friday morning and 180mm of rain by lunchtime and a fair bit of swell. Jewfish to 20kg caught during the week from the beaches and headlands, mainly on live bait. Once the sea does go back, snapper should be great but wait for the sea to settle.
Belliger River around the highway bridge on the top of the tide with plastics for plenty of school jew, but there should be a fresh coming down there now.
Best bet this weekend is bream and blackfish in the inner harbour and the marina.
