Sunday looking like the best for outside. Some nice snapper on the inshore reefs, and the jackets have thinned out in 50-80m to make room for snapper and trag with some pearl perch. Jew on the 42-fathom lumps. A couple of striped marlin raised last weekend in 21° clean water out on the shelf.
Rocks have quite a few jew, with one of a whopping 36kg caught on a hardbody off one of the local headlands, also a 20kg fish caught on Thursday night. A few tailor, mainly on the longer beaches like Bundagen and down towards Nambucca. Bait just on dark or at dawn the best option.
The river mouths have a few reasonable flathead on plastics, try Boambee, Moonee and the others. On the tide changes some good school jew and the odd bigger fish around the bridges.
