Weekly Report 20/9/13

A few reasonable snapper on the inshore reefs; berley and floatline pilchards or squid in the pre-dawn for fish to 5kg. A nice little current from the north at the moment. Another blue marlin lost on Thursday, the odd yellowfin also poking around out wide. Rat kings up around the lighthouse.
Headlands have some nice jew at the moment with soft plastics at the top of the tide on dark the recipe for success. Bream also around the headlands.
Bream and whiting on beachworms in the surf. Still a few reasonable school jew if you can find the formations, use fresh squid and live worms.
Reasonable flathead in the lower reaches of the rivers, try the top of the tide for school jew. Quite a few bass in the upper reaches of the Bellinger, Kalang and Nambucca tributaries.
