Weekly Report 27/9/13

Outside, the deeper spots in about 100m are firing up for trag, pearl perch and some nice snapper. Another reasonable push of warm water coming down with a couple of marlin dropped last weekend and the Soitary Islands club holding a comp this weekend. The odd king up around the lighthouse for the jiggers. For snapper on plastics, put in the hard yards to find the bait and you should do well.
Headlands are a little slow but some school jew off the deeper faces on white 7” soft plastics. Also a some quality bream.
Bream and whiting taking beachworms on the beaches. No swell to fire up the school jew.
Nice whiting in the lower reaches of the estuaries with lightly weighted yabbies outperforming poppers at this stage. Flathead working off the drop-offs and the bass still fairly well down the systems and waiting for rain.
