Mackerel are still showing their faces and a lot of tuna are starting to turn up. There are plenty of mac tuna and bigger bluefin starting to turn up as well. Lots of stripies and yellowfin are mixed in, and some have been coming in relatively close.

We’ve been doing pretty well off the rock walls of late. Lots of people are catching bream, and flatties and blackfish are starting to turn up as well. The whiting are starting to slow down.

There are lots of trevally around at the moment, with a variety of species providing good sport.

Bream starting to get into their breeding mode, slowly getting to the point where they turn up on the beaches. Mulloway are turning up a lot now too. They’re not huge specimens, but they’re decent enough at around the 20lb mark.

We’re coming up to snapper season, with the reds starting to congregate in closer.
