Report 11/07/14

We’re starting to get bream and blackfish in the estuaries; they’re coming along fairly well now. There aren’t too many blackfish being caught off the rocks as yet but that should soon change.

We’re going to see the end of the macks in the next week or two, and the tuna are winding down as well. There are still a few tuna around but they’re definitely not as thick as they have been.

The snapper should start to really fire up soon, and other species like teraglin and pearl perch should start to kick on as well. You can also expect the odd kingfish outside.

There are good tides coming up if you’re after a mulloway. It’s looking good off the rocks as well, with conditions set to create a bit of a stir-up for these prized fish off the rocks.
