Starting offshore, there's been plenty of kingfish being taken on a mix of live baits and lures, including stickbaits and popper. This action will only get better as the weather warms up.

Chasing trevally on poppers in the estuaries has been popular lately, and jack numbers are really picking up with the warming weather. Livies and lures are doing the damage on the red dogs, with a bit of action on the surface too.
The usual bream flatties are about in good numbers, and that bit of rain we've had recently has stirred the water up a bit, contributing to some good fishing. This rain has certainly given the freshwater reaches a good flush out, so the bass have been active.
Bull sharks have been in healthy numbers throughout our estuary systems, so take care when releasing fish.
Whiting are really showing up over the flats at high tide and both lures and baits will take these tasty little fish.

Plenty of good snapper are being taken from the Breakwall, and mulloway are a good option from the beaches, especially after dark.
