Outside currents been a bit funny. A few little blacks have been caught, along with a few bluefin, but not a lot. There are mackerel around but they've been patchy.

In the deeper water, around 30-40m, anglers have been picking up a few snapper, pearlies and some good size flathead.

Off the rocks we're seeing a few good size tailor, good numbers of bonito and slimy mackerel, and some mac tuna. Little metal slugs are the go.

On the beaches all the bread and butter species are doing pretty well. There aren't too many jew around though; only the odd one or two.

Up the creeks the fishing has been really good for school jew and mangrove jack, and there are some quality flathead too. There are a few bream around but not a whole lot.

Further up there are plenty of solid bass being caught just about everywhere.
